“At any given moment, you have the power to say, this is not how the story is going to end.”

Through my personal experience and experiences with others, I know that taking the initial step to consider engaging in therapy can be a tough one for many. I want to congratulate you on taking this step! I am delighted and honored that you are considering me to be a part of this process. I find joy in helping others on their unique journey and, as the quote above indicates, you have the power to decide how your story ends, despite the many challenges we all face day to day and the changes or support that may be needed to assist you in rewriting your story which can begin on your time. You are in control of your own journey! My goals in therapy are to meet you where you are, help you feel empowered, teach you life and coping skills, discover strengths you may not know you have, and encourage you to see things in a new way to help you achieve your goals. In my work I use a variety of evidenced based practices to help you achieve your goals. I also love to include music, art, and meditation in conjunction to the modalities I utilize.

I have been working in the mental health field since 2007 and practicing as a therapist since 2018. My undergraduate degree is in psychology and my master’s degree is in social work. After earning my master’s degree at the University of Kentucky, I relocated from my home area of Lexington, KY to northern KY to practice in Ohio. I have worked with a variety of populations of various ages, sexual orientations, genders, races, and ethnicities. I have also worked in many settings including an inpatient psychiatric hospital, in homes, in the community, and as a school-based therapist. I am also a seasoned foster parent, adopted my oldest daughter, and currently have 2 babies in my home. I have served individuals with a wide range of mental health diagnoses including trauma, anxiety, depression, chronic illness, and many others. I have lead groups, worked with individuals, and worked with families.

If you have read this far and feel that we may be a good fit, I would love to work with you and see how we can work together to achieve your goals, please feel free to schedule a session with me. Again, congratulations on taking the first step toward writing the story you want for your life and being willing to put in the work to make the changes and achieve the goals you hope for!
