I want you to find your Joy!

It is inside all of us, and I am fortunate to help you find yours!

I will provide a “brave-space” for you where fears and traumas can be treated and safe-space can be created. I offer mindfulness exercises before sessions to create a calm energy for you to share your life accounts with me. I am passionate and genuine with my clients and am dedicated to walk through various journeys with you. I am always honored and grateful for my client’s trust in sharing vulnerabilities with me and I vow to give you respect and time in return.

I am currently a momma to 3 and a wife to one, though traditional family life is not our norm. Aside from humans, I adore animals, specifically living with me now; 2 dogs, 5 cats, a tank full of fish, and a yard full of lizards! I love everything Disney, and my family truly knows it to be the happiest place on Earth! I love to create, either sewing quilts and crocheting masterpieces, or tearing down walls and redecorating our new home. I prefer mountains to beaches and camp as often as I can. I choose symmetry and balance anywhere I go, though I desire traits of those who have a more haphazard way with spontaneity. Want to know anything else about me? I am happy to exchange during sessions!

In search of my own joy, I enrolled at UC…again, at age 39, and earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) in April 2021. I then became certified as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) and worked with Talbert House, placed at Princeton High School for the 21/22 and 22/23 school years. During that time, I trained with the Ohio Chemical Dependency Board and earned my Ohio Certificate Prevention Specialist Assistant (OCPSA)… a wordy way of saying I became a prevention specialist, as I believe avoiding harmful situations is key to nurturing your Joy! I also choose to practice evidence-based therapies concentrating on a person’s strengths rather than their struggle.

Please contact me to discuss your Joy and how we can secure it for a lifetime.
