Hi! My name is Emily (she/they), I’ve been an outpatient therapist in the Cincinnati area for seven years, supporting clients through some of the most meaningful and transformative chapters of their lives. My work is grounded in compassion, authenticity, and the belief that healing is a collaborative journey. I completed my BSW at the University of Cincinnati in 2017 and my MSW at The Ohio State University in 2018, finishing each program early. Over the years, I’ve received specialized training in DBT and Motivational Interviewing, which meaningfully shape my clinical style. My professional background includes work in community mental health, private practice, college wellness, and adoption and foster-care systems—experiences that have made me a flexible, adaptable clinician who meets clients where they are.

I was born and raised in Cincinnati and am a loud, proud member of the LGBTQ community. My own mental-health recovery and ongoing therapy inform the way I show up with clients, helping me lead with empathy and realness. Outside of work, I enjoy attending local drag shows, collecting crystals, playing with makeup, supporting minority-owned small businesses, and fostering cats through a local animal shelter.

I work especially well with LGBTQ+ clients, individuals navigating bipolar spectrum concerns, young moms managing mental-health challenges, sex workers, and alternative or creative folx. My goal is always to create a nonjudgmental, affirming space where people can show up fully and feel supported throughout their healing process. My therapeutic approach is dynamic, individualized, and grounded in intersectional feminism. I draw from DBT, CBT, harm reduction, Motivational Interviewing, strengths-based work, client-centered practices, and trauma-informed care—tailoring each session to the person in front of me. I prioritize collaboration, trust, and helping clients feel seen, understood, and empowered.
