My name is Cherish and I would love to be a part of your healing journey. Here’s a little information to get you acquainted with me. I am a licensed social worker. I specialize in working with adolescents/teens and adults in the BIPOC populations. I help with women’s issues, relationship issues, parenting, life transitions, anxiety, depression, stress management, self – esteem and grief and loss.

 

My experience includes providing supportive care, collaborative and a person-centered approach. I provide services to families and/or individuals who need help managing their emotional and mental distress. I integrate theories & techniques from a variety of therapies like motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, play therapy, trauma-informed & mindfulness. I believe my clients are the experts of their own lives. My role in our therapeutic relationship would be collaborative & guided support to help achieve your therapeutic goals.​
