Inclusive Counseling

Everyone deserves support, care, and the chance to heal their experiences to grow and foster the best life for themselves. I believe every person deserves therapeutic space to process their internal and external experiences. This is the core of any work I do as a therapist with my clients. In therapy, I utilize cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approaches to identify goals and help my clients to reach them. My role as a therapist is to reflect with my client on the concerns they bring to our session space and emphasize individual strengths in our work together.

 

I have been in the mental health field the past five years working with individuals and families including time spent in working with adolescent individuals and parents in outpatient therapy in the school, home, and community-based settings. I obtained my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Indiana University in 2018 and my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Xavier University in 2021. The primary client concerns I have worked alongside include childhood trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD, sexual trauma, and mental health concerns in the educational setting. I have also worked closely with adults experiencing transition times in their lives.
