Welcome to Inclusive Counseling!  I am Carrie and I am new here too! I am a Master of Social Work student at Louisiana State University and interning this year. I bring many years of experience in therapy-adjacent fields to this internship, including a doctorate in the impact of under and untreated mental health in the workplace. 

 

It is my intention to create a space where you feel respected, seen, and valued for who you are. I rely on a strengths based approach to address barriers and simplify next steps as you move towards well-being. I will work with you to determine what health looks like for you and collaborate on goals for our time together. I will invite you to bring your values and strengths to this process. This might include spiritual beliefs and practices, workplace experiences, family systems, and cultural identity.

 

Whether you are in the midst of a crisis, healing from past trauma, or working towards creating new healthy patterns, I look forward to walking with you on this part of your journey.
