Inclusive Counseling

Hi! I’m Jenny (she/ they), and I’m so glad that you’re here. Whether you’re looking for a therapist for yourself or your child, I’m here to support you. I am honored to offer a safe, nurturing environment where we can hold space for your experiences and foster growth and empowerment. I use a person-centered, trauma-informed, anti-oppressive approach that honors each individual’s unique needs, values, and expertise.

I specialize in working with children, youth, and adults who have experienced child maltreatment, other forms of trauma, anxiety, depression, and attachment challenges. My practice integrates tenets of interpersonal neurobiology, polyvagal theory, developmental psychology, attachment theory, and mindfulness to promote safety, regulation, and healing. I focus on repairing disruptions that occurred at earlier developmental stages to support emotional, psychological, and physiological well-being. I am currently in the process of becoming a Registered Play Therapist and certified TraumaPlay provider.

In addition to working with Inclusive Counseling, I also serve as a school-based therapist for children ages three to five. I have previously worked with children and youth in residential settings, community centers, and centers for neurodivergence. I have also facilitated support groups for adult and child survivors of violence and trauma.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy reading, writing, cuddling with my cats (Palo and Waverly), and practicing aerial sports.
